Another Lovey-Dovey story! This time is about two guy from the same class in high school but now they are all grown up and going their own ways. What will happen when they meet again?

Seme - Haruhiko, Haru, sometimes Haruko

Occupation: Head of Marketing Department in K Company, a huge company.

Orientation: Gay (hoho.)

At high school he is a smart and energetic student so he soon becomes an idol in both boys and girls 's eyes. But due to some family problems, even a free-minded young man who has many ambition as him must gives up his dreams and heads in the life that will save his family but won't bring him any joy as it's not what he wants to do in the future. However, he's smart and hard-working so success comes to him very soon.

That family issue also changes his personality. The more open-minded and funny and cool he used to be in the past, the more practical, serious and dishonest he is now. He is used to forcing himself to do things he doesn't like, which is very selfish to no one else but him. That's why although Haru is rich and successful at a very young age, he no longer feels happy and content with himself.

Haru is gay and he is popular with both men and women although he hasn’t really dated anyone.

In the 2^rd year of high school Haru is transfer to Arashi’s class and they become friends.When Haru finds out that he's in love with Arashi-kun after high school graduation which is also the moment his family problem occurs he always embraces the image of arashi-kun's pureness and willfulness as they may never meet again.

Arashi changes a lot since then, doesn't he?

Occupation: Freelancer (well, unemployed). Mostly work as a singer and composer.

Orientation: Straight (but at the moment he is gay because of somebody hoho)

He is an average student when they first meet in high school. Arashi is the airhead, carefree type. Arashi lives the way his family wants him to without any complaints. He doesn’t think much about the future so he applies for a normal economic university as his parents tells him to. Only until he meets Haru does he learns how to enjoy life. That’s why he drops college at the first year to follow the dream of being a musician, which totally surprises his parents. He loves traveling around and singing at every bars for folks while writing songs about people, lifes and dreams. Besause of that he has never working officially as a musician which is very joyful and inspirational but aimless and unstable, and very poor.

“Frankly, I’ve tried once but I reallly cannot enjoy doing it with men” said Arashi.

Unlike Haru, Arashi is a hetero although he has a small build and girly look. It takes him a while to get used to be in a relationship with Haru. 

Plot

They meet again in a high school reunion. Because Arashi is always traveling he missed all of the reunions up until now. He comes back with the youth of his spirit not only to Haru but all of their friends. His beautiful voice brings back the love and joy in life to Haru. In return, Haru helps him realizes that Arashi needs to think seriously about settling down and starting working properly.

This story is mainly about how people live their dream. The question is whether you should do the things you hate to become successful or follow your dreams and accept that the road will get very tough. Personally I think people should just do whatever they like to do and dream whatever they want to dream so no one has to regret when they die. "I'm poor but I'm rich. You're wealthy but you're miserable" - Me hahaha.

As mentioned above Haru and Arashi meet again in a bar in a reunion. Haru is stressed and a little drunk so he is easily affected by the comeback of Arashi, his one love and “idol” ever since high school. Encouraged by Arashi’s youthfulness and honest self, Haru suddenly gives Arashi a clumsy yet passionate kiss in the middle of the reunion while people are not paying attention. After a few seconds of reallization Haru gets angry with himself and goes home, leaving Arashi all confused and flustered without any explaination. A few weeks later when every problems is solved, they start dating.

These lines from the song “Affection” by KAT-TUN show clearly what’s in Haru mind after that incident:

Arashi starts building up his career seriously with applying for proper studying Music in an Art Academy. He is a hardworking and talented student.

Arashi: “Do you think it’s a bit late for me to aply for a course?”

Haru: “It’s not like that. Nothing is too late to do.”

Arashi lives at Haru’s luxury apartment. Although their life together sometime has troubles and fights as Haru is quite short-tempered and dishonest to himself (he is still trying to fix this flaw) while Arashi is carefree and a bit thoughtless, Haru and Arashi are very lovey-dovey.

 Other

Arashi has met Ryuji from the story “Sparkling Star” in one of his trip to the countryside. They are about the same age. They also write a song together which later becomes a hit. Ryuji offers Arashi a job to work in city as a professtional composer but Arashi refuses, saying that he still loves traveling around and if he wants to work he will not rely on his relationship with onther but to earn by himself. Ryu admires and respects Arashi’s freedom which Ryu doesn’t have although Ryu is very famous and sucessful. But Arashi shows Ryu what Ryu has at the moment and Ryu should embrace the gift and chance that no one else has in order to realize Ryu’s dream.

I also write a scene after the pictures above when Arashi sweetly gives Haru a hug from behind. You can see a part of it on the right picture.
